Our Scope

Design, Supply, Testing, Commissioning and Integration of the Laboratory Dilution & Exhaust System

The High plume fans system is designed to have high discharge velocities and dilution by inducing fresh air through a stack. A combination of Air volume and velocity contributes to a high plume exhaust while diluting hazardous exhaust concentrations. MK Plastics Axijet fans series is a great fit this purpose.

MK Plastics Axijet Design Features

  • AMCA certified for both Air & Sound
  • High efficiency.
  • Low radiated sound levels.
  • Greater airflow and high-pressure capabilities, with stable operation throughout the operating curve.
  • The Motor and drive components are placed outside the contaminated airstream (easy to maintain)

MK Plastics K-KORE plenums Features

  • Lightweight construction. Up to 40% weight savings vs. steel construction.
  • True no-thru-metal construction throughout the entire cabinet depth.
  • Unlimited salt-spray resistance
  • Highly Corrosion resistance.
  • Flame Spread index of less than 25 when tested according to UL 723.

2 Typical Fans Sets, each of 4 Fans (3Duty/1Standby) arrangement were installed to extract the hazardous air from the building.

Due to the high demand of the building, each of the installed fans has a 60HP Motor with a capacity of 40,000CFM a total of 120,000CFM is extracted through each fan set.

Each fan set has a 11X3.5m K-KORE Composite Energy Recovery Plenum for future upgrade installation of energy recovery coils

A PLC based, Factory programmed & tested Lead-Lag Control Panel is used to control the operation of each fan set. The control system monitors &controls the fans speed, duty cycling, alarms, flow measurements & dampers operation to achieve the required operating conditions. All the system parameters are integrated to the Building Management System via BACnet/IP.
