Our Scope

Design, Supply, Testing, Commissioning and Integration of the Laboratory Dilution & Exhaust System

The High plume fans system is designed to have high discharge velocities and dilution by inducing fresh air through a stack. A combination of Air volume and velocity contributes to a high plume exhaust while diluting hazardous exhaust concentrations. MK Plastics Axijet fans series is a great fit this purpose.

MK Plastics Axijet Design Features

  • AMCA certified for both Air & Sound
  • High efficiency.
  • Low radiated sound levels.
  • Greater airflow and high-pressure capabilities, with stable operation throughout the operating curve.
  • The Motor and drive components are placed outside the contaminated airstream (easy to maintain)

4 Fans Sets, each of a Duty/Standby arrangement were installed to extract the hazardous air from the building. Different sizes of fans sets were installed, to serve the various needs of the building sections.

A PLC based, Factory programmed & tested Lead-Lag Control Panel is used to control the operation of each fan set. The control system monitors &controls the fans speed, duty cycling, alarms, flow measurements & dampers operation to achieve the required operating conditions. All the system parameters are integrated to the Building Management System via BACnet/IP.

As a part of the complete solution, Climasys also supplied tested & commissioned all the MCC panels equipped with VFDs including the integration between the VFDs & the PLC via Profibus.
